Bread making ident for BBC One

Posted on 31st October 2020 by The Clean Feed Team Last updated on 25th March 2021 Filed under PresWatch

Revised update: 2nd November 2020.

BBC One has unveiled a new “bread making” Oneness ident.

The ident first appeared at 7.35pm on Monday 2nd November. The recording below is from the 10pm junction into the BBC News at Ten. So, it looks as though this latest ident is considered news safe.

The ident had been expected to materialise on Saturday 31st October, following the appearance of two related stings.

It’s possible that late changes to BBC One’s planned programme schedule (due to Covid press conference coverage) resulted in the intended Saturday debut airing of the ident being delayed.

Curiously, the second sting to be aired did not feature the ‘Oneness’ logo.
