Questionable editing of new BBC One ident

Posted on 29th October 2020 by The Clean Feed Team

The latest addition to the Oneness ident set debuted on Saturday evening. However, the edit has room for improvement.

The other idents in this set start off with a single video window, quickly followed by a lower-third showing the ident title.

Cat Naps starts with the ident title appearing over a black screen – inconsistent yes, but also not great looking. We’re a number of frames in before the first video window pops up.

A re-edit wouldn’t go amiss.
