BBC One’s daytime consumer affairs show Rip-Off Britain returned this week with a new look.

The programme is based in Studio V at New Broadcasting House in London. This studio is also home to The One Show, which itself received a new look recently, with studio facilities and set components being updated in a way that better accommodates other programmes.

Rip-Off Britain’s titles and on-screen graphics were designed by James Mobbs.

The titles are a little MediaCityUK/Manchester dominated, are they not? Doesn’t it rather give viewers the impression that the programme is based in the north west, not London?
