New BBC Two ident airs before Blue Peter

BBC Two’s latest “curve” ident launched in an unlikely early morning slot.

Inspiring first appeared on network BBC Two in a Blue Peter link at 6.50am this morning:

It popped up again later in the day, for the deferred airing of Gardeners’ World – postponed on Friday evening, due to the ongoing news coverage, following the death of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

VIDEO: later in the day, the ident was used again, fittingly, for a rescheduled edition of Gardeners’ World. TX DATE/TIME: 10th April, 8pm. COPYRIGHT: BBC.

Fun fact: although this is the first appearance of the ident on network BBC Two and BBC Two Wales, it actually made its on air debut on 31st March at 2.30pm on BBC Two Northern Ireland.
