This morning’s edition of The Big Questions fell victim to Storm Ciara for a time.

The problems started shortly after 11am, when the picture and audio broke up. A few seconds later, the connection to Media City was lost completely. BBC One’s presentation team stepped in quickly, with the a breakdown graphic and music.

Announcer Kate Walsh kept viewers informed during the unexpected interruption – which lasted just under eight minutes.
