BBC London has been broadcast from Studio B at BBC New Broadcasting House for the first time.

From today, the weekday 6.30pm and 10.30pm programmes will be broadcast from Studio B. Breakfast, lunchtime and weekend bulletins will be based in Studio D.

The programme was expected to make its Studio B debut yesterday at 6,30pm, but technical issues with the cameras meant they had to switch to Studio D at short notice.

How does this work with the BBC national 6pm and 10pm News also in the studio? Does not give BBC London News time to rehearse and prepare surely? I do know ITV News London pre records a lot of their 6pm bulletin, to ensure the Evening News at 6.30 has time to prepare, as both use the same virtual studio at ITN.
