6.30pm Sneak preview of the next ITV Creates ident
Emily Forgot’s ITV Creates idents – which reappeared in the 6pm junction last Monday and then regularly from last Tuesday lunchtime – continued in use today.
With the exception of the 6pm local news junction, where, just like last week, we may well have got a sneak preview of the next ITV Creates ident set in the weekly rotation.
In the early evening regional news junction, we saw one of the idents by Same Sky & Regent High School filmed in March 2020 and first aired in June 2020.

10am Odd choice to plug 5-minute gap in BBC Two schedule
The Winter Olympics coverage on BBC One has meant the overnight simulcast of the BBC News Channel has moved to BBC Two.
An odd side effect is that there’s now a 5-minute gap in the BBC Two schedule between 5.55am and 6am. A sensible option here might be to fill the small “interlude” with trails.
But no, officially, the overnight barker is used to fill this gap. Yes, the barker that has the old channel branding and features programmes that aren’t on the channel any more.
And somewhat predictably, the barker ran for a few minutes this morning, before BBC Two Playout abruptly crashed out of it and straight into a trail for Superbowl LVI.
