BBC One Weather hit by technical glitch

Today’s lunchtime BBC One Weather bulletin was struck down by technical gremlins.

The 1pm news finished but the weather forecast failed to appear. BBC One viewers in England, Northern Ireland and Scotland had 30 seconds of black and silence, before Helen Willetts finally appeared, oblivious to the fact that viewers weren’t able to see or hear the first portion of her forecast.

BBC One Wales Presentation was on the ball with a breakdown graphic and verbal apology:
