BBC One continuity error into BBC News at Ten

There was a rather unfortunate continuity error leading into tonight’s BBC News at Ten.

In what appeared to be a live announcement, the duty announcer seemed confused about the upcoming junction and provided an incorrect introduction to the news.

The announcement – intended as a link into an episode of Mrs Brown’s Boys – overran and interrupted the opening seconds of the opening headlines, read by Clive Myrie.
