BBC News is expected to announce later that the UK version of its TV news channel will broadcast the international version of the channel rather than BBC Breakfast from this Wednesday.

In January this year, BBC News announced a similar move before reverting the change about four months later, in May.

The e-mail to staff regarding the decision in May to flip back stated the plan was to continue to review the situation “over the next few months” before arriving at a final decision.
