This morning’s edition of Sunday Morning Live fell off air for a couple of minutes, halfway through the programme.

At around 11am, the screen went blank and audio was lost. A BT Tower test card then appeared, accompanied by test tone.

Seconds later, the BBC One breakdown slide was put to air, and the duty announcer filled briefly, by previewing a portion of this evening’s BBC One schedule.

We rejoined the live programme, after a break of a little over two minutes.

The root cause of the interruption is not in the public domain. However, it has the appearance of a line booking issue.
