The BBC carried live overnight coverage of the US Midterm Election results on BBC One, the BBC News Channel and BBC World News.

The programme was anchored from the BBC’s Washington studio by Katty Kay and Christian Fraser.

Graphics, pushbacks and outside sources were controlled from Studio A at New Broadcasting House in London, led by director Roger Simpson. The London team also included Chris Gray, Karl Riley, Rosanna Pounds-Woods, Adam Stansill, Dominic Johnson and Judith Welikala.

The lower-thirds, fullforms and touchscreen were created in HTML and driven by the internal control app Manifesto, produced by Ryan McKenna.
