Matt Berry took over the continuity booth on BBC Two yesterday evening, introducing programmes in-character as Steven Toast.

The specially recorded announcements coincided with the airing of the last in the current series of the six-part comedy, Toast of Tinseltown, starring Berry in the lead role.

BBC Two Northern Ireland and BBC Two Wales also aired Berry’s links – albeit versions referencing the local channel brands.
