BBC One’s coverage of the Winter Olympics means the overnight simulcast of the BBC News Channel has moved over to BBC Two. Are the handovers any better over there?

Well, on night one, no. But the second overnight handover was unexpectedly slick. BBC Two managed to join the BBC News Channel cleanly at the top-of-the-hour (3am).

And a rarity for BBC Two Playout – a full 90-second countdown.
