Red Bee incident causing minor issue for BBC TV playout?

Posted on 28th September 2021 by The Clean Feed Team Last updated on 5th October 2021 Filed under PresWatch

Late-night announcements on BBC One and BBC Two are usually pre-recorded a short time in advance.

However, tonight, it seemed that there was an issue with this process. BBC One was using the generic, pre-recorded “You’re watching BBC One” announcement for the final junctions of the day.

The same pre-recorded announcement was used on Saturday evening on BBC One (BBC Two did something similar) in the hours following the Red Bee Media incident.
