Tri-colour ITV logo reappears for one day only

Posted on 24th July 2020 by The Clean Feed Team Last updated on 2nd April 2021 Filed under News

Break bumpers featuring the tri-colour ITV channel logo aired throughout Friday. This version of the logo had been replaced by a mono-colour ITV logo on Monday, on break bumpers, promotion endboards, ECPs and menus.

The mono-colour ITV logo continued on programme promotion endboards and ECPs throughout the day; it also appeared in a ‘Back Soon’ graphic during the late film, Sherlock Holmes.

By Saturday morning, the break bumper design introduced on Monday had returned. The use of the tri-colour channel logo on break bumpers yesterday was presumably a playout error.
