RTÉ One’s flagship Six-One News made a special effort for its St Patrick’s Day coverage, with lighting changes to the set, large event-specific graphics for the BARCO screens and recoloured titles and lower-thirds. The broadcast also marked the end of a thirty-year career with RTÉ for newscaster, Aengus MacGrianna.
