Channel 4 brings in Trump impersonator for special idents

Channel 4 has produced a special set of idents to promote its two-part special Trump vs The Truth, airing from 10pm tonight.

Coinciding with the US President’s second state visit to the UK, Trump vs The Truth analyses the untrue statements made by Donald Trump during his presidency.

The largely programme-specific idents – featuring a Trump impersonator – have been airing since early this morning.

The sequences lampoon the disconnection from the truth that has become one of the most talked about features of Trump’s presidency.
