10.20pm Sophie Ridge left not knowing if she is on air
During a busy afternoon for UK political news, there was a relatively rare on-air blunder from Sky News just ahead of 3pm.
Presenter Sophie Ridge – stood outside 10 Downing Street – lost communication with the gallery, and was left not knowing if she was still on air.
Gareth Barlow was on standby back at Sky News HQ.
Sunday 7th September
10.10pm BBC Northern Ireland and BBC Scotland announcers on Network
A nice touch by BBC Presentation recently with the Network airing of Northern Ireland and Scotland World Cup Qualifier matches being introduced by members of the BBC Northern Ireland and BBC Scotland Pres teams.
This evening, Jennie Browne introduced the match between Northern Ireland and Germany on BBC Two.
On Friday evening, Dominic Maine linked into the match between Scotland and Denmark.
And on Thursday evening, Gavin Healey voiced the ident into the Northern Ireland v Luxembourg game.
