The Saturday update from BBC South East Today went out minus sound.

Audio disappeared at the end of the national news on BBC One South East, at the point where the BBC South East Today gallery went in circuit.

The majority of the regional news programme then aired with no sound, before abruptly cutting to BBC London, seconds into the south east weather forecast.

No subtitles were available and there was no on-screen acknowledgement of the fault.
