Monday 8th January
11.05am BBC SD services cease on satellite
Within the last 15 minutes or so, all SD BBC TV services on satellite have been replaced by this message:
1.30pm Camera trouble on the BBC News at One
A bit of camera trouble during a link on today’s BBC News at One. The tower also seemed to experience issues temporarily with some of its tiles.

Tuesday 9th January
2pm ITV/STV SD service closures on satellite
ITV and STV have now closed a number of SD services on Freesat and Sky satellite:
- ITV 1 Channel Islands.
- ITV 1 Border Scotland.
- ITV 1 Wales.
- UTV.
- ITV 3.
- ITV 4.
- ITVBe.
- STV West (Glasgow).
- STV Dundee.
Wednesday 10th January
1.10pm BBC Radio begins move to DVB-S2
The first BBC radio station has migrated to new DVB-S2 satellite capacity on Sky boxes.
BBC Radio Cymru 2 is now no longer available on old Sky receivers.
The migration of all stations is already complete on Freesat.
UPDATE (2.05PM): BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra has now also migrated.
And ITV has now pulled the SD feeds of its channels that were removed from Freesat and Sky EPGs yesterday.
UPDATE (11TH JAN 10.35AM): the BBC continues to remove old DVB-S radio stations, with the BBC World Service and BBC Radio 4 Extra among those making the switch today.
Very soon, BBC Radio on satellite will be receivable on DVB-S2 (HD) receivers only.
UPDATE (17TH JAN 12.15PM): the BBC has completed the migration of its radio stations on satellite. BBC Radio on satellite is now only receivable on DVB-S2 (HD) receivers.

Sunday 14th January
11.25pm BBC Look North (NE/Cumbria) off air this weekend
If you were expecting the regional news from BBC One North East (Newcastle) this weekend, it looks as though it’s been off air – presumably to allow for technical upgrades.
The 10.25pm regional bulletin tonight was replaced by a simulcast of the BBC News Channel.
