BBC One Scotland misses first two minutes of Comic Relief

Scottish viewers missed the Lenny Henry/David Tennant Doctor Who regeneration sketch at the start of tonight’s Comic Relief programme, due to a playout issue.

BBC One Scotland linked into the charity programme as expected but instead of Comic Relief, an edition of Saving Lives at Sea appeared. The documentary series was actually being transmitted on BBC Two at the time.

Although there’s been no public comment from BBC Scotland, it looked as though BBC One Scotland Presentation put a clean feed of network BBC Two to air in error.
