That botched BBC logo just keeps popping up

That unofficial BBC logo that’s been sitting on the web for years – you know the one – has found its way on to our screens on many occasions, within programme titles.

It’s like an uncontainable virus. Here’s the abomination in question:

I happened to be looking at some of the latest job profile videos posted by BBC Northern Ireland on their YouTube channel, and saw something rather familiar (first appearance 3 seconds in):

Someone get the tech ops team at BBC Northern Ireland a proper BBC logo for goodness sake.
