ITV launches Christmas presentation

With ITV’s current presentation package being a matter of weeks old – and post-production on a number of the standard idents yet to be completed – it was perhaps wise not to have high expectations for the channel’s Christmas presentation.

The first of three Christmas idents aired in the 2pm junction. Santa is seen in the now familiar Rural setting, looking at a map. Though deciduous trees in full leaf isn’t the most convincing winter setting – in spite of the post-production frost effect.

The festive version of the Train Station sequence sees a man trailing a real Christmas tree along the train platform.

And the evening version of Cityscape has been updated with festive lighting on some of the featured buildings.

ECP graphics and trail boards have been updated with a simple Christmas tree design.
