Feet off the desk Tim

A momentary on-air cock-up on the BBC News Channel went viral this evening.

Presenter Ros Atkins was just a couple of minutes into his Outside Source programme, which he was presenting live from Downing Street, when the picture unexpectedly cut briefly to Studio C, where presenter Tim Willcox was seen seated, perusing material on his phone, with his feet on the desk.

Tim seemed to be prompted that he was on air and immediately removed his feet from the presenter’s desk. Vision then cut back to Ros at Downing Street.

Our thanks to Wayne Sloman and a few other readers who flagged this item with us this evening.
