Andrew Neil returned to TV on Sunday evening with a ten-part interview series for Channel 4. The show aims to speak with the names at the centre of that week’s political news.

The show’s on-air graphics were produced by RBD Design. With set design by Sarah Milton.

We created the full on-air look as well as moving the branding into the set design to ensure a cohesive flow between the physical set and on-air graphics.

The idea was to use layered panels to represent the layers of conversation and debate they shift and move around. The panel imagery also features in the set and social media engagement and allow for versatility in the use of the design over the course of the series.

We worked closely with Sarah Milton who designed the set as well as the clients at ITN and Channel 4, creating all the panel artwork to ensure that all the camera angles had interesting backdrops and worked cohesively with the on-air graphics.

The resulting programme package has been well received and has the ability to grow and adapt over the course of the ten-week run.
