Brief playout glitch affects start of BBC Newsline

Friday night’s edition of BBC Newsline was interrupted briefly by a BBC One Northern Ireland sting and programme trail.

It looked as though the next event in the playout schedule was triggered prematurely, moments after the local news bulletin got under way.

The error was quickly corrected – only the programme’s opening titles was impacted.
