The BBC Red Button text service has been updated with the new BBC blocks logo. Logos for News, Sport and Weather have also been updated to the BBC Reith font.
The text service – which is a descendant of the Ceefax teletext service – was earmarked for closure in early 2020. Following a flood of pleas to retain the service, the threat of closure was lifted and in autumn 2020 the BBC confirmed the service would remain available.
Thanks to one of our readers for flagging the logo change – which was first spotted yesterday afternoon.
