The updated version of the animation which appears on the “clean feed” of BBC One and BBC Two between programmes got an unexpected airing on BBC One Scotland tonight.

BBC One Scotland failed to opt out on time for the late BBC Reporting Scotland bulletin. Consequently, viewers got a brief glimpse of Ben Rich in the weather studio followed by 13 seconds of the BBC blocks logo animation.

We then crashed into BBC Reporting Scotland.
