It’s Science Week in Ireland and RTÉ has a range of associated programming across TV, radio and online.

One of the highlights of Science Week was Future Island, an hour-long, live show that went out at 7pm over the last three nights on RTÉ One. It was based at Explorium, Dublin’s sport and science centre in Sandyford.

Liz Bonnin was joined by Professor Luke O’Neill and various guests to look at how Irish innovators are changing the world.

Graphics for the show were produced by John O’Riordan, Billy Lynch and Emma Moloney. Set design was by Anita Barrett.
