Gogglebox is the latest victim of Channel 4’s playout woes

Posted on 1st October 2021 by The Clean Feed Team Last updated on 5th October 2021 Filed under Bloopers

Channel 4 suffered its second significant technical glitch in prime time tonight, as the fallout from Saturday’s incident at the Red Bee Broadcast Centre continues.

The end credits for Gogglebox were cut off by colour bars.

Presumably the edit of this programme continued until shortly before transmission and it was then played down the line live from where it was being edited.

Did the booked slot end – perhaps at exactly 10pm – before the programme finished?
