Odd issue with Film4 “off-air” captions on All4

Most of the All4 live streams remain unavailable as a result of Saturday’s incident at the Red Bee Broadcast Centre.

Only the main Channel 4 service is available but it has been suffering regular technical issues. Where a stream is completely unavailable, it has been replaced by an “Off-Air” caption.

At some point during the day, the text disappeared from the “Off-Air” caption being shown on the Film4 stream. Then, later in the evening, the text re-appeared but in a font that Channel 4 hasn’t used in any of its branding since 2004.
