The TV Room returns

Posted on 25th November 2018 by The Clean Feed Team Last updated on 26th March 2021 Filed under News

After a break of seven-and-a-half years, The TV Room is making a comeback.

On the morning of Sunday 14th November 1999, The TV Room launched, showcasing channel idents/branding, past and present, from the main UK and Irish television channels.  During the next decade, the site’s coverage and scope would expand and it became one of the largest and most popular sites of its kind.

In spring 2011, updates ceased and a lengthy hiatus followed.  Today – not long after the after the nineteenth anniversary of the launch of the site – it is making a return, with a new structure and purpose.  Initially, the new site will operate in “experimental mode”, with a limited amount of content.  Full details of the site’s structure is available on the About Us page.

Regular updates will begin shortly.
