5 has created a special ident for its live NFL coverage.

The short sequence is an aerial shot of a packed CGI NFL stadium, where people standing in the field turn large cards to reveal a ‘5’ logo on one side of the field and an NFL logo on the other side.

As part of a new pact between Paramount UK, the NFL and CBS Sports, 5 will broadcast two live NFL games every week during the football season.

One of the games will be shown on the main channel, from 6pm; the other will air on 5Action from 9pm.
