Freeview is expected to be down across much of Yorkshire and the North Midlands during the early hours of Friday and Monday morning.
This is a result of engineering work taking place at the Emley Moor transmitter site in West Yorkshire. The transmitter also provides Freeview TV signals to a number of relays in the region – these sites will also be affected.
Work commenced during the early hours of Thursday morning, but wasn’t widely publicised in advance.
TV signals are expected to be off for up to six hours. Viewers shouldn’t retune.
