The latest permutation of ITV Creative’s set of ITV linear channel idents has appeared on ITV 2.
The rebrand of ITV’s portfolio of TV channels was implemented on air last November.
For the idents, the same set of locations is used across the range of TV channels. Each channel has its own twist on the scene, which stems directly from the channel’s own tone of voice.
The six initial locations are:
- Café
- Cityscape
- Takeaway
- Rural
- Seaside
- Train Station
In the latest example to debut on air – filmed at St Anne’s Beach, Blackpool – we see the version of the Seaside location created for ITV 2, called Giant Seagulls.
Two other versions of Seaside are already airing: on ITV 1, Ice-Cream Queue and on ITVBe, Runaway Bride.
The two versions that have yet to appear on air: Tall Ship Painting for ITV 3 and Cyclists for ITV 4.
UPDATE: the ITV 3 and ITV 4 versions of Seaside aired later in the weekend.
