4Music finally back on the air after an absence of almost three weeks

4Music came back online today, having been off the air since the incident at the Red Bee Media building in London on 25th September.

On Monday 27th September, a simulcasting arrangement was put in place for a number of Channel 4-owned music channels:

  • 4Music, Magic and Kerrang have been simulcasting The Box.
  • Box Hits has been simulcasting Kiss.

When Box Hits returned on 7th October, the simulcasting arrangement changed slightly:

  • Magic and Kerrang simulcasting The Box.
  • 4Music simulcasting Box Hits.

With 4Music now back in operation, that leaves Magic and Kerrang yet to be reinstated – both continue to simulcast The Box.
