Channel 4 TV services unavailable from Waltham transmitter…again

The Waltham group of transmitters has suffered a loss of Channel TV services again this evening.

Twitter user @Indigo Associates posted these images of various Channel 4-owned channels showing a “Programmes will continue shortly” graphic:

The Twitter user confirmed all services had been restored at 10.30pm – but stated they may have returned earlier than that.

The transmitter site at Waltham seems to be being supplied with a different feed of Channel 4-owned channels than that supplied to the rest of the Freeview network.

At one point, there was a suspicion that the transmitter was using the same live streams of the channels used by All4. However, All4 seemed to be working fine this evening when the Waltham outage was reported.

Various Channel 4 services from Waltham were off the air from 27th September until 30th September.
