Announcer makes reference to current Channel 4 “nightmare”

Posted on 6th October 2021 by The Clean Feed Team Last updated on 22nd October 2021 Filed under PresWatch

We thought it worth acknowledging one of the few Channel 4 ident links that actually has a programme announcement at the moment.

It aired in the early hours of this morning in the junction leading into Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares USA.

Any why did we feel the need to single out this link? Well, because it appears to contain a nice little touch by the announcer.

He seems to make reference to Channel 4’s current technical struggles, resulting from the Red Bee incident on 25th September. “Ramsay’s having a right old nightmare,” he tells us, before adding: “Yeah, you and us both mate”.
