The Sunday Times

The BBC News at Ten is to be cut by ten minutes – by trimming the main programme, the regional news and the national weather. The move is apparently an attempt to retain younger audiences and stop viewers switching across to ITV.

The paper hears from former presenter of the programme, Peter Sissons, who says the decision is a “breach of their public duty”.
