11.30pm Empty BBC Wales Today studio appears during rugby programme

Following today’s news that Warren Gatland has left his role as Wales head coach, there was a special edition of Scrum V tonight on BBC One Wales. But all did not go quite as planned.

About 15 minutes into the programme, a BBC One Wales breakdown graphic appeared, without obvious reason. Within seconds a live shot of the BBC Wales Today studio was put to air – showing the studio in darkness.

Scrum V reappeared 20 seconds later.
