Sunday Times: Nandy considering funding BBC through general tax
Monday 6th January
11.30pm Fault results in late start for BBC Look North (Yorkshire)
A technical fault resulted in the late edition of BBC Look North (Yorkshire) going on air over a minute-and-a-half late.
BBC London was shown initially before an already in progress Look North abruptly appeared, mid-package.
Presenter Amy Garcia apologised for the fault.
Tuesday 7th January
7.20pm New set for BBC Channel Islands’ news programme
BBC Channel Islands’ news programme will be coming from an updated set tomorrow – as confirmed on this evening’s programme by presenter Charlie McArdle.

11.30pm BBC One Northern Ireland dusts off COW ident
A familiar friend emerged from the lens effect in a special ident on BBC One Northern Ireland tonight.
The COW (Computer-Originated World) symbol was dusted off for a link into the raucous 80s throwback horror comedy, Video Nasty.
Sunday 12th January
12.40pm Sunday Times: Nandy considering funding BBC through general tax
A piece in today’s Sunday Times claims Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy is considering funding the BBC through general tax rather than the Licence Fee.
