6.10pm BBC One evening and late-evening news moves studio
The BBC News at Six and BBC News at Ten will be based in Studio D (Broadcasting House, London) temporarily.
This is to allow for routine checks/maintenance to be carried out in Studio B, the usual home of those programmes.
10.30pm BBC Look North (Yorks) 10pm headlines gremlins
Now which button gets us back to London?
BBC Look North (Yorks) has problems returning to network BBC One after its headlines at 10pm.
Tuesday 6th August
12.15pm BBC South East Today breakfast bulletin finishes early
This morning’s 7.55am BBC South East Today bulletin finished early and consequently ended up crashing into the final minute-and-a-half or so of the BBC London bulletin.
Friday 9th August
7.25pm BBC Spotlight announces set replacement
BBC Spotlight – the regional news programme serving BBC viewers in south west England – is to get a new set.
The news was revealed near the end of the 6.30pm edition of the programme this evening.
As with similar set upgrades in the English regions, the programme will move to a small, temporary set whilst work on the set upgrade is in progress.
Presenter Victoria Graham also took a look back at the programme’s style of presentation over the decades.
